Sarah – Senior Patient Support Coordinator

Tell us about your role and what you do within GP Care

I joined Cohese Healthcare in January 2023 as a Patient Coordinator in PST and I am currently working as a Senior Patient Coordinator, supporting our team of coordinators. This has been an amazing opportunity for me to learn more about Cohese Healthcare, the daily running and so much of what goes on behind the scenes. My day to day role is super varied and no two days are ever the same!

What do you like most about your role?

PST are an incredible team and work so hard to ensure our patients have the best possible first contact with each of our three services. I love being the first point of contact to support them and this increases my business knowledge everyday. As a line manager, I love working with each individual member of the team as they grow and develop within the business. We are a very close team and it’s great to provide them with support 5 days a week. I also enjoy having so many connections within the wider business and how well I have been supported through my first few months of this role.

Tell us something interesting about yourself that most of us won’t know

I have been married to my husband for 7 years and we have a beautiful (and sassy) daughter. The majority of my free time is spent with my family – we are a very busy trio! We love day tripping to the beach and going for walks (ideally followed by a pub lunch!) I love going anywhere with water and enjoy wild swimming when I can. I used to live and work on a canal boat, so I am really drawn to the British water ways.
