If the lesion is larger than 2cm, or located on the face, neck, forehead, or in multiple areas, additional charges may apply due to the increased complexity of treatment. Full payment will be taken at the time of the booking.
Your lesion will be removed by one of our Minor Skin Surgery specialists, all of whom are experienced GPs or Clinicians with specific expertise in this field. They are not consultants or plastic surgeons. You can find out more about each surgeon and where their clinics are located on our website. Depending on your surgical requirements, you have a choice in who performs your procedure. If you plan to claim the cost of your procedure from your private medical insurer, we advise getting prior confirmation from them in advance as full payment is required at the time of booking.
If you are unsure of the type of lesion you have, send an enquiry entering other in the lesion box and we will advise if it is something we can remove.
If you have a one-stop appointment but decide not to go ahead with removal of the lesion after your consultation with the Minor surgery skin specialist, we will refund you the surgical cost of the procedure therefore you would pay the £110 consultation fee only. In the rare instance that the clinician decides not to proceed with the procedure on the day, due to clinical or safety concerns, the consultation fee will still apply. More information on our refund policy can be found here.
Should there be any concerns on the day to the nature of the lesion we have the option to refer into NHS Cancer services and send your lesion for histological analysis.
Full payment will be taken at the time of the booking.
