What is a mole?
A mole is a common, usually benign skin growth that can appear anywhere on the body. Moles vary in size, shape, and colour, ranging from light brown to almost black, and may be flat or raised.
While most moles are harmless, some patients choose private mole removal if a mole becomes irritated, changes in appearance, or causes cosmetic concern. In some cases, moles may need to be assessed to rule out other skin conditions, which is why a professional evaluation is important.
- Usually harmless skin growth
- Varies in size, shape, and colour (often brown or black)
- Changes in appearance should be checked by a GP
Professional Mole Treatment
Your private mole removal treatment begins with a full clinical assessment to ensure the mole is suitable for removal. Our experienced clinicians will explain the procedure clearly and answer any questions you may have.
Mole removal is typically a minor procedure performed under local anaesthetic for comfort. The mole is carefully removed using appropriate clinical techniques, with a focus on minimising scarring and supporting good healing.
The procedure is usually quick, allowing most patients to return to normal activities shortly afterwards. We also provide full aftercare guidance to support recovery and achieve the best possible results.
