Tell us about your role and what you do within Cohese Healthcare

Hi my name is Jo and I’ve been with Cohese Healthcare since June 2023 – I work in the patient support team as a patient support coordinator and one of the first point of contacts for our lovely patients. We download the referrals and upload them to EMIS to be triaged and then once triaged we book patients for their appointments, conf call and discharge them once seen and for anything else in between that patients or GP surgeries might need to query.

What do you like most about your role?

I like how different each day can be and all the personalities we encounter when speaking to patients.

Tell us something interesting about yourself that most of us won’t know

Sorry to say I’m not very interesting these days!! Pre kids would of been a different story though. I used to play rugby, I also spent 5 years in the Reserves (TA) and have done quite a lot of travelling before settling down. These days I’m happiest at home with my husband and two kids even if they do drive me crazy at times.
